Cute AND Affordable??????

Lately I've become somewhat of an eBay fanatic.  I think I ordered $100 worth of clothes and accessories from different sellers.  The amazing thing was that everything was SUPER cheap!  Like so cheap that it was ridiculous.  I figure that my shopping spree will go either of two ways:  I might have made the most amazing fashion discovery in my life, or I'll get a bunch of crappy clothes in the mail that I would never be caught dead in.

I read a lot online though and apparently those prices are normal because the clothes come from Korea or China or something.  A lot of people say that they loved what they got...I guess I'll just have to wait and see.  Anyway, here are the cute things that I ordered....

This was $7.50!  Best deal ever!!!

Suspenders!  I needed to own some....just $3.85

A robot necklace....everyone NEEDS one of these!  Just 99 cents.

Glasses on a chain, again 99 cents.

Floral Front Double-Tiers Tube Cotton Dress
This adorable dress for...wait for it......................................$4.50!!!

Navy Style Double Breasted V-neck Sleeveless Dress
I'm gonna look like a sailor for just $6.00!

Rayli Summer Style Asymmetrical Hem Strapless Dress
Boho Chic for $6.75!

Floral Print Boat Neck Strap Chiffon Sundress
SIX BUCKS!!!

Fashionable One-shoulder Striped 2-piece Sets Dress
And this one was just five bucks!

These skull tights were only $2.25.

I'm so happy I'm about to burst!  This is what shopping does to me, it fills me up with warmth and joy.  It's not that I'm shallow and shopping is the only thing that fills me...I just really like to!  I should be getting my clothes in about 2 to 3 weeks, and if I like the quality, I'll fill you all in on the names of the sellers and stores so you can head over there and get some cheap, cute clothes too!

H & M Helps the Earth!

H & M is making an effort to make clothes that help the environment.  I commend them on that, earth-friendly clothes are something that is greatly overlooked.  Usually I've seen that organic clothing or clothes that are made from environment friendly material aren't that pretty, and are mostly boring.  H & M's Concious Collection is anything but boring.  Take a look at the collection...

I did NOT recognize Natasha!  She looks completely different without the blonde hair!

I love the fact that the colors in this collection are earthy and natural.  It seems like they didn't use any synthetic dyes to make the clothes.  I really identified with this Conscious campaign because I feel like it fits in with this new thing I'm trying.  I'm trying to recycle more and do things for the environment.  I've been trying to get in touch with the more earthy part in me, so I've been wearing nudes, whites and brown colors.  I also though that meditating would help me get in touch with my more primitive, earthy side....and somehow that fits in with this collection.  Whoa, I'm going hippie all of a sudden!

Astonish Magazine: Issue Zero

When I first saw the cover of Astonish Magazine Issue Zero, I gasped.  The work that the Astonish Team has done on their first cover is astonishing, like their namesake.  This completely blew me away! The lighting, the material of the dress, the vibrant colors, and the gorgeous model that was used for it, exceeds anyone's expectations!  Take a look at this........

I see talent, immense talent, in the people that worked on this.  Their efforts paid off though, the magazine is starting out with a bang!  After seeing this I cannot wait for the next issue, Issue One, to be published and I'm sure many other people feel that way also!

You can check out the full first issue on their website, I promise there's going to be a lot more to love about it!   http://www.astonishmagazine.com/

Astonish Magazine Launches Today!

Astonish Magazine, the incredibly interesting fashion and art magazine that I wrote about a couple of days ago, is finally launching its first issue.  The exact launch date is March 28th at 12:00 AM EST.  That is in just a couple of hours!  I cannot wait!  I hope you all head over to their site, the artists they have been featuring are truly something else....a blend of creativity and freedom.

Check out the following photos, and get a little taste of what Astonish promises to be...................

The styling is...just...wow!  Everyone that collaborated on this should be extremely proud.  The models, the setting, the styling and makeup all fit together like puzzle pieces.

Simple...yet the sheer fabric in her hand is more than enough for me to love this!

I wish there was more of this one.  The models and the delicate concept for this shot could have made a great  editorial!

I love the contrast between her blonde girlish looks, and the tough leather jacket and cigarrette.
The setting!  The styling!  The light coming through the window....its a work of art!  So stunning!
This shot would be wonderful for either a makeup or jewelery campaign...both are impeccable!
ART....PURE ART!!!

Fashion and art.  Creativeness.  Freedom.  Talent.  I am more than inspired with these photos...I can't wait for the full magazine to come out, my inspiration will go through the roof!   Be ready for the launch everyone, head over to the site, as of now there is roughly 3 hours and 40 minutes left until the official launch!  http://www.astonishmagazine.com/

Amanda Seyfried: Spring and Flowers

This editorial with Amanda Seyfried was in Marie Claire UK for April 2011.  It made me feel so happy inside because it got me thinking....spring is almost here!  The temperatures will finally go over 70, I will wear sheer clothing, ruffles, I will show some skin and the flowers will be in full bloom..........

The fact that this dress is only held up by a thin rope is fascinating....so sexy!

Fringes, and little peeps of skin on the sides of the pants.  Its like a modern Pocahontas!

And finally...the cover!  (not my favorite, I think some of the shots on the inside would have made a better cover, but that's just me loving more intricate images)

So, any thoughts?  I think Amanda is beautiful, she's a great actress.  I feel like she's in every movie right now, she's on her way to the top!
Plus, she could definitely model if that didn't work out (maybe not, her height is a problem), she's so GORGEOUS!
