H & M Helps the Earth!
H & M is making an effort to make clothes that help the environment. I commend them on that, earth-friendly clothes are something that is greatly overlooked. Usually I've seen that organic clothing or clothes that are made from environment friendly material aren't that pretty, and are mostly boring. H & M's Concious Collection is anything but boring. Take a look at the collection...

I did NOT recognize Natasha! She looks completely different without the blonde hair!

I love this little number! Its so cute!

Is that lace on the sleeves?

White maxi!!!

Focal Point: The wide sleeves

Major Trend This Season: Crochet

Yay! A male model!
Models: Lindsey Wixon and Natasha Poly
Photographer: Solve Sundsbo
I love the fact that the colors in this collection are earthy and natural. It seems like they didn't use any synthetic dyes to make the clothes. I really identified with this Conscious campaign because I feel like it fits in with this new thing I'm trying. I'm trying to recycle more and do things for the environment. I've been trying to get in touch with the more earthy part in me, so I've been wearing nudes, whites and brown colors. I also though that meditating would help me get in touch with my more primitive, earthy side....and somehow that fits in with this collection. Whoa, I'm going hippie all of a sudden!

What Inspires Me Every Morning
I've mostly been posting editorials and ad campaigns lately. I haven't done any random inspiration since who knows when! So here's just some photos that have been lying around in my Outfit Inspiration folder, but that I've used the past few mornings to inspire my day-to-day outfits.....
I've been wearing garters lately
This made me wanna get married!
I bought so many lacy, sheer things because of this shot!
When I had my nude and neutral obsession in January, it was because of this!
This is the perfect way to look like a bum.
I wore knee highs for two straight weeks after seeing this.
I was so inspired by this that I cut like 3 pairs of jeans short enough so that the pockets would show.
Stole a sweater like this from my mom!
I've searched everywhere for leopard-print hotpants like these...not easy to find!
I bought the magazine with this editorial in Mexico!
I haven't been able to find a feathered dress.
More knee-highs!
Isabel Lucas made me buy a tan belt!
I did my hair like hers one day....it came out morbidly wrong!
This shot made me want to draw a beauty mark on my face.
I wore too many bracelets because of this.
This is the photo that persuaded me to buy a denim bustiere!
Hope these photos inspire you as much as they have inspired me....

Hilary Rhoda For Foam!!!
This last editorial from Foam Magazine made me realize something....I want to work there! I'd be happy even getting coffee, but I just want to work there. Being around all the talent that makes this magazine come to life would be a dream come true. All the people that collaborated on this swimsuit issue deserve a round of applause! So anyway, now that I've divulged what my life goal is, lets go on to the good stuff....Hilary Rhoda!

The styling is so laid-back, and I love the fact that she's holding an In-N-Out soda!

I want to know the designer of that swimsuit!

It seems as if the hair placement was planned...that's all the magic of the hairstylist!

Thomas Whiteside...you are a genius!
THE COVER!!!

I cannot even begin to describe my appreciation for this cover. I've been looking at a lot of covers recently and this one is one of the few that stand out to me the most. It looks relaxed and not overly retouched. Its natural and lifelike, unlike some magazines in which the models are so retouched that they look like plastic dolls. Great job Foam on making Hilary look like a human, and convincing me to love the magazine so much!

The Eternal Queen of Fashion: Kate Moss
Kate Moss has not had to die to become a legend. She is a fashion legend while having been alive only 37 summers. She completely revolutionized the fashion world in the 90's and continues to do so. Kate is one of the few models who actually deserves the title 'supermodel' to be applied to her. Proof of this is her latest editorial in Vogue Japan for May 2011.......

Like the title of the editorial says, Kate is sheer perfection. (Sorry, I had to retouch her nipples, I don't want any trouble with the people of Blogger)

I can't focus on just one thing in this shot. Although the elements in this photograph are quite different from each other, they blend together to make a majestic work of art.

This is so fairy-tale like!

You know what its like, when something is so wonderful that there are no words to describe it? Well that's what I feel this is, I cannot find good enough words to describe this photo.

The contrast of the fancy evening gown and the cheap mattress and dingy room is fascinating.

Speechless once again!
Everytime I see anything that required Kate Moss's participation, I get overly excited. That's what happened when I saw the title of this editorial in my inbox just a few minutes ago. Apparently though, I am completely justified in my bursts of excitement...Kate Moss has the capability of blowing anyone away!

Magazine Love: Foam
Yeah, I'm going a little over the the top with all the posts about Foam Magazine, but I feel like I completely identify with the editorials in this April/May issue. I love it all, and I cannot help myself, sorry if you are getting bored of all the Foam posts!
This is a swimsuit editorial called "Rainbow Bright", which includes the vibrant shots of color that are all the rage this spring season. See for yourself.....

I like their new take on swimwear, with the combination of winter and summer pieces. Its different, and it works well!

This one is inspiring me to do a DIY project and cut slits up my boring, black, one- piece swimsuit!

They made this editorial very realistic. The hairstylist even took the time to frizz up her hair, just as if she was at the beach.

Strangely, the thing I noticed the most about this shot was how well the color of the bikini suits her skin.

Russh Magazine: It's All About The Hair!
Now I usually don't do posts on hair and makeup, but I shall make an exception today. Its Russh Magazine we are talking about here, and they always do an incredible job with their editorials. Plus I have a thing for the land down under, and the magazine is a native of Australia. Now that I've explained my reasons for this rather unusual post, you can take a look at the epic nature of the editorial....

This one made me so jealous! Oh to have that hair and those perfect pouty lips....

Goth chic....

I want to try this slicked back look sometime in the future, when I dare to look like a rockstar!

I feel the Native American vibes in this shot.

Whenever I see the pompadour, I automatically think of Janelle Monae. Sorry, I got sidetracked right there...the makeup artist did a fascinating job with the eyeliner. I might muster up the courage and wear a look like that sometime!

The makeup is so natural, and earthy. I think this would be a perfect day look, this is the one I will try out tommorow!
If you like this, check out Russh Magazine's site for more inspiration!
