Hazy Romance

In this editorial for L'Officiel Singapore, Yulia is shot by Wee Khim in pieces from Valentino's 2011 spring line.  Its soft and romantic, really suits my lovey-dovey mood today (I know, I'm late, Valentine's Day was a month ago)!  This editorial is kind of in a haze, the exact hazy color I feel when I kiss THAT boy!

Her braids are just heighten the femininity in this shot!

Don't you just love the sleeves on this dress, its so unique....

To me, this one is masculine because of the color, but feminine because of the ruffles and the sheer sleeves.

This piece is so SEXY!  Its because she's all covered up, but showing us some skin through the peep holes.

I'm not much of a cloak-wearer, but I'd definitely wear this one!

I have always loved Valentino, but this spring collection is definitely one of the best I've seen....its so subtle and romantic (that may be just me though, I'm biased to romantic pieces) The styling for this shoot was superb as well, in fact I might try those braids on myself and I've decided that wearing pink eyeshadow like the model would look AMAZING!

A Double Sense Experience

Oh my goodness....I have been m.i.a for MONTHS!!!!!!  Ok I definitely need to get back into blogging.  It seems that all I have been doing in the past three months is reading OTHER people's blogs but doing absolutely nothing with mine.


  Anyways, one thing I have been doing is working on some....how should I call them?  Moodboards-slash- scrapbook-slash collage sort of things.  And I was inspired to make them because I'm always bookmarking images I like, and I listen to music while I look at all those images in editorials and advertising campaigns.  So basically, a song is what inspired me to make this....and you get to listen to the music while you look at the little project I made. The song "Rhythm of Love" by the Plain White Tees inspired me to make this moodboard.  For some reason to me this song should have been playing in the background when these images were shot.  Yes it might seem weird....but let's see if this can be a two sense experience...sight and sound.  Let me know if you like it please (or if its just crazy????)!  I would LOVE to hear your comments!
