Finally...R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor

I hadn't gotten around to posting in memory of the amazing Elizabeth Taylor...I just could not seem to find the right photos.  I wanted to find ones that would really show what a glamorous individual she was.  After days of scouring the Internet, I finally found them.....

Look how gorgeous the details on her dress are!

One of the few women who can look that glamorous after barely having a baby!

Her dress is beautiful, and the gloves are such an elegant touch!
Look at the tiny waist!  The A-Line skirt is to DIE FOR!
I bet those are White Diamonds!
I wonder if that is real fur...mink most likely.
Wearing a tiara, like the Hollywood queen she was!

 Such a ladylike hat!

A turban...so daring!!!

I really want a vintage bathing suit like this!

This was back when women would never be caught dead in pj's and flip flops outside.  Back when they felt it was important to look your best anywhere you went!

Are those scorpions?  Only she could make that look fashionable and not from Durango, Mexico.

Is she supposed to be looking "disheveled" in this photo?   Wow, she just looks great....and take a look at the ROCK on her finger!!!
Her lacy top is so adorable!
Oh she deserved that Oscar!  Liz and her dress deserved it!!!

Elizabeth as the character we most remember her for....Cleopatra
That velvet coat...I could just steal it!

Speechless, just speechless!

Here she is growing older, but not losing even an ounce of all her style!

Liz Taylor and Elton John....an epic moment in time caught on camera!

I can't get over how big the ring on her finger was!

She must have been about 45-50 here, and she's thinner than most women!

I think she was in her 50's here....and she looks like a goddess!  Oh to age gracefully like that!

Liz's necklace....its absolutely amazing.  She's pristine as usual!

It really is a tragedy that Elizabeth Taylor had to leave so soon.  She was 79 years old and died from congestive heart failure on March 23, 2011.  To me, she was the queen of Hollywood.  Her acting was impeccable and her style as well.  Elizabeth Taylor is a style and Hollywood icon, and will forever be remembered as such.
